  • Assist the Marketing Communications Director with the tone, voice, and positioning of all corporate messaging
  • Ensure marketing communications are aligned with established brand guidelines
  • Incorporate executive direction and vision into the creation of marketing materials while driving brand continuity
  • Assist with the execution of the positioning, style, and messaging strategies for global communications programs and projects
  • Play a supervisory role in department copy creation and refinement
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Supervise department copywriting resources in the production of high quality, compelling copy for a variety of internal and external audiences
  • Create copy and messaging for the web, sales tools, social media, public relations, videos, event scripting, and other mediums as dictated by department workload
  • Assist with the enforcement of company branding and copywriting guidelines across all global communications
  • Manage cross-functional teams both within and outside of the department as needed on large programs and projects
  • Constantly seek opportunities to improve the quality and consistency of global marketing communications
  • Perform all job functions satisfactorily in a fast-paced business environment
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Superb oral and written communications skills, with the ability to write in a professional, persuasive tone, and the ability to adapt messaging for the intended audience
  • An excellent grasp of the fundamentals of the English language, with the ability to edit and refine copy to meet department standards of quality
  • A strong grounding in the fundamentals of marketing and communications
  • Excellent and proven people and project management abilities
Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or 3 to 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous MLM experience is a plus
  • Experience with social media in a business environment also a plus
