CBP is looking for a Human Resources Specialist, (Classification) GS-201-13 level, within the Office of Human Resources, Human Resources Operations, Programs and Policy (HROPP) Division. This position, located in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, is a reemployed annuitant opportunity only. For 2011 salary tables and other information regarding this position, click here.MAJOR DUTIES Advises senior leaders, managers and/or supervisors in developing position descriptions Determines appropriate pay systems and occupational groupings for positions in CBP Develops position evaluation statements and performs desk audits in support of making sound classification decisions Provides guidance on classification problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods Conducts studies to develop responses to management on new requirements in classification according to legislation or agency regulations Performs other related duties.
