General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Web/Dashboard Development – Java/Scripting/Linux candidate to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nations fundamental defense services. GDAIS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to ensure GDAIS and client technologies are functioning as efficiently as possible. The Web/Dashboard Development – Java/Scripting/Linux candidate will design and develop a web based dashboard capable of displaying system metrics, usage statistics, system uptime information, etc. The system will interact with various 3rd party systems/databases to depict a centralized view of information. He/She should be an experienced Web developer with Java, Scripting and Red Hat Linux platform experience
Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of software systems and applications, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve GDAIS software solutions.
The Senior Advanced Software Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and eight to ten years of related experience; or masters degree and six to eight years of related experience.
