Corrections/Intake and Detention and LCF - County - 59-02 (5751:4); Hourly range: $16.38 - $24.24; Hours: FULL TIME or ON-CALL; Shifts and weekends. Full-time and part-time Correctional Officer positions are available at the Lancaster County Corrections Department, providing for the humane care and supervision of detainees in a safe and controlled environment. These positions have an excellent starting wage and provide a great opportunity for a career in Criminal Justice. Part-time positions allow you to select working hours that conform to your schedule. Full-time positions offer annual merit wage increases (up to $24.24/hr.) and a substantial benefits package. Sound judgment and good communication skills are important. Qualifications: Must be at least 19 years of age, Citizen of U.S., high school graduate or GED, no convictions punishable by imprisonment in a federal or state penitentiary for a term of one year or more unless pardon received. Must pass local and national criminal history/fingerprint check, substance abuse testing, and physical examination. Possession of a valid driver's license when operating a vehicle. The City of Lincoln will soon begin the process to revise and restate the
civilian employee retirement plan by amending the plan to reduce the City's
