Job Summary

:

The Physical Therapy Technician is a non-licensed worker who has completed an on-the-job training program. The Physical Therapy Technician's primary function is to assist in carrying out patient-related activities, which are pre-determined for each patient and assigned by the therapist. The tech will also assist in transferring patients and maintaining the department in a clean and orderly state. The Physical Therapy Technician is under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Education

:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

License/Certification

:

BLS certification preferred.
