Innovative Bainbridge Island based company, working at the leading edge of the food safety technology industry has a position open for a Field Service Manager.
The position of Field Service Manager requires organizational ability, attention to detail and excellent people skills. It requires adequate knowledge of the technical aspects of the equipment and the ability to troubleshoot down to the component level. In addition, the Field Service Manager should have a basic understanding of computerized Service Management systems and standard business software.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
*Proven leadership ability, minimum of 5 years experience managing a diverse team of mechanical/electrical technicians.
*Minimum of 10 years technical experience, installation and maintenance of industrial machinery to include experience with a variety of pumps, valves, plumbing, fluid control systems and electrical and electronic systems and components.
*Strong electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills to include analog and digital circuits.
*Strong customer service skills.
*Computer skills in managing parts inventory, service/work orders and administrative details of customer service.
*Ability to manage time, costs and customers in a fast paced, rapid growth environment.
*Comfortable working with critical dead lines.
*Ability to work odd and/or long hours, weekends and holidays when required.
*Ability to travel on short notice and be gone several days at a time.
Valid drivers license with excellent driving record required.
Valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
Food processing experience is a plus.
PLC Controls experience is a plus.
