Hawk Institute for Space Sciences, a full service engineering company, specializing in aerospaceengineering for commercial and government agencies is seeking a Project Engineer/Manager to work in the Washington, DC area.
The Project Engineer/Manager coordinates and integrates technical projects and works directly with the customer representatives and project participants. The candidate will provide overall technical, cost, schedule, customer relations, and project team support for multi-task contracts and/or multiple contracts. The candidates should possess a working knowledge of project scheduling tools and have experience in EVMS and EVMS tools. Candidates will also have experience in the development of SOWs, WBS, task prioritization, budget planning, forecasting and tracking, identifying and executing change orders, risk management and mitigation, staffing, and conflict resolution. Individuals should have experience in managing and executing both engineering services and hardware contracts and will be responsible for ensuring monthly reports and deliverable deadlines are met.
Candidates should have a B.Sc. in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years experience successfully managing multi-task engineering services or hardware contracts. Hawk is also interested in receiving resumes from candidates that have an active Secret or TS/SCI with current SSBI clearance or who have the ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The qualified candidates should also have strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
