Job Description: Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provide continuous, direct one-to-one patient observation to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Must be able to demonstrate sound judgment and technical skills. Successful completion of Orientation and Crisis Management Course. Must be able to attend and successfully complete a (2) week full time, day shift, paid orientation.

BLS (CPR-Health Care Provider level Course Certification is required. May obtain within two months of hire.) Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within LVHN, who have patient contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bonafide religious belief or practice. Preferred Qualifications: Direct one-to-one patient observation experience is preferred. Direct patient care in an acute care setting is preferred.

Strong customer service skills, clinical work experience and or clinical education. Licensure and Certifications: BLS (CPR-Health Care Provider level Course Certification is required. May obtain within 2 months of hire.)
