Canteen Office Coffee Services, a Division of Compass Group North America, has a Regional Sales Director position available based in the Chicago region. This professional top performer must be an organized, self-starter who is able to work independently. Will focus strictly on sales - this is NOT a management position.
Recipe to Succeed:
Will sell office coffee and vending service contracts to new and existing clients
Develop new business opportunities
Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
Ability to multi-task and establish priorities
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
Ability to use working knowledge of work environment to meet established goals and objectives
Ability to communicate, present finding and sell at the administration "O" level
2+ yrs of Documented Success in Outside Sales (no account management)
Cold Calling, Prospecting and Discipline to Develop Markets
High Energy, Positive Attitude and Excellent Communication/Presentation Skills
Effective Demonstration of Sales Process / Methodology
Keen Listening Skills
Strong Time Management & Territory Development Skills (multi-task ability)
Analytical Insight to Proformas, P&L's and Overhead Budget
Aptitude to Identify Decision Maker(s) and Ascertain Buying Criteria
Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
Interested candidates should have a BA or equivalent experience
A strong understanding of selling contract management services
The ideal candidate should be a deal maker who is adept at consultative selling at the executive level and has a track record of sales accomplishments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must
This position entails 75% travel within the territory
