OD-Women's & Children's Health
In collaboration with the Vice President, Operations, develops and implements a system of care strategic plan for Women¿s & Children¿s services, consistent with Alegent Health priorities. Plans and implements system wide business development activities and financial and clinical performance improvement efforts..
Collaborates with the Vice President, Operations in establishing and maintaining relationships with physicians who support the system of care strategic direction for the assigned services. This includes partnering with the physician medical director(s) to advance the objectives of the assigned services across the system. Attends physician meetings and acts as liaison to respond to physician needs.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of the neonatal nurse practitioners, assuring adequate resources are available to meet system needs, and effective allocation of resources.
Supports the Vice President, Operations in the development of new programs and services to achieve growth and meet the needs of women and children in the Alegent Health service area.
Assists in the development of annual capital and operating budgets within assigned areas.
Minimum of Masters Degree in Health Care, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration, or a related field (any equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered).
