Health Applied Analytics Consultant is responsible for working with Health payer and provider clients to analyze and design their analytics strategies and capabilities. Also responsible for identifying and defining capability gaps, documenting detailed requirements, and supporting health analytics product implementations. Design and deliver innovative analytics solutions for Health industry clients that help clients accelerate business innovation. Responsibilities include: Work on analytics proof of concept, pilot and implementation projects for clients within Health Be involved from the concept stage of analyzing existing processes and designing, through to delivering and integrating the solutions Develop a broad set of technology/health industry skills Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills Daily responsibilities will vary by project, but may include: Analyzing and documenting current business processes and technologies Designing and testing new business processes, capabilities, and technologies Building portions of the application Focusing on program management Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Health Administration or related field 2 or more years working as business analyst in health industry 2 or more years in working in project-oriented environments 2 or more years data analysis experience Preferred Skills: Masters or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration or related field 2 or more years working with/for US healthcare payers 2 or more years consulting, outsourcing or business process outsourcing delivery experience Professional Skills: Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
