Business Unit Overview
Pentair’s Engineered Flow GBU is a global leader in mid-to-large fluid management products and applications. The business delivers a range of products from the world’s largest flood control pumps to sophisticated fire and HVAC pumps and products in the municipal, industrial, and commercial markets. Pentair Engineered Flow brands include Myers, Aurora, Hydromatic, Fairbanks Morse, and Delta Environmental.
This position is responsible for the coordination, organization and support of marketing project activity as required. In collaboration with the MarCom Manager, will perform identified duties with minimal supervision related to current and new marketing collateral and promotional activities.
Job Requirements & Skills
Input/change catalog pricing and special quotations in the master pricing database on an as needed basis.
Assist with summary price changes to catalog pricing and special quotations in the master pricing database, and price change communication to customers via mailing and/or e-mailing pricing documents.
Review, complete and submit all tradeshow participation related administrative documents/forms by required dates for registration, badges, carpeting, furnishings, certificate of insurance, bills of lading, shipping labels, purchase requisitions and check requests as needed.
Based on timelines provided by each event, identify, organize and submit product and shipper request to inside sales group. Coordinate all show items to ship to the identified advance warehouse or show locations.
Maintain close communication with Shipping and Traffic Coordinator for timing of products and shipment for each show / event.
Will provide/assist with input and maintenance of the MarCom project list.
Maintains MarCom graphic, copy and ad library, with notation of size, specifications and publication for ad files.
Maintains archival file on all obsolete marketing collateral.
Will collaborate and work closely with internal customers and resources to insure all marketing properties (booths/working displays/graphics) are well maintained, and in working order prior to shipping.
Coordinate with vendors for quotations and procurement of replacement materials with budget approval when needed.
Maintain inventory of all marketing literature, coordinating replenishment with budget approvals when needed.
Assist on uploading content, images in the pre/post development stage of the new website and will assist in the content management of the site, and provide confirmations to requestors when changes have been made.
Responsible for electronically maintaining price sheet files to conform to industry standard formats when required by trade Associations.
Arranges for RFQs, order placement and issues purchase requests as required by Marketing Communications Manager.
Two-year related degree, preferable.
2+ years of related experience required.
Valid California driver’s license is a must.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
