The Marketing Analyst is responsible for planning, development and implementation of the CNI’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the area of marketing, communications and public relations. Coordinates the efforts of marketing, communications and public relations at the strategic and tactical levels of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Works with various stakeholders to develop and deploy effective marketing and communication strategies. Coordinates cross-functional efforts where needed.
Directs the development and execution of marketing and communication initiatives including product launches, marketing campaigns, social site presence, company website, public relations and internal communication.
Establishes and drives strategic internal and external communications strategies that positively affect employees’ and customers’ understanding, engagement and commitment with the result of an even stronger connection to the company.
Ensures communication and marketing campaigns and programs are aimed at reaching sales targets.
Manages brand creation, delivery and consistency across all markets for all product lines.
Actively leads internal resources who have marketing, public relations and communication activities formally allocated to them in other teams within the organization.
Develops and delivers high quality publications and materials on time and within budget.
Determines projects which should be completed internally and externally.
Manages relationships with outside vendors as necessary.
Drives continual process improvements and implements best practices to manage projects efficiently.
Collaborates closely with stakeholders in Operations, Business Development and Sales.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with the media.
Develops strategy and execution for web site revisions, including content management systems, navigation and design.
Identifies needs for market research, implements necessary studies and analyzes results.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to any training made available by the company.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such away as to maximize output.
Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and coworkers. Will relay any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions to the best of own ability.
Bachelor's degree from accredited, four-year college or university and five years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience creating professional-level graphics and charts for presentations and proposals. Must have demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities. Must have strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills. Must have experience developing and managing budgets. Must have experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications. Must have computer literacy in word processing, database management and page layout. Must be committed to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
Must have strong oral and written communications skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Experience in sales or business development a plus. Experience with federal contracting preferred.
