The Localization Technical Associate is a member of the video game localization team and works closely with the Localization Director, Localization Project Coordinators, Localization Translators and Editors. This role is involved in all phases of the creation of Nintendo platform e-manual for the video game titles.
Creation of e-manual for video game titles, working with Project Coordinators, Editors, and Translators.
Technical support for video game localization projects such as creation of test-play ROMs, distribution data check, capturing of game screen, etc.
Regular communication of progress to both in-house management and off-site partners
Other technical support for video game localization as needed
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
2-4 years of online content creation experience on technical sides under regular deadlines, and experience with wide ranges of different parties
Must be detail-oriented with proven ability to multi-task various projects at the same time
Must be an effective communicator and solution oriented
Strengths with time management is required
Previous experience in the gaming industry is a strong plus
Ability to learn new computer programs and Nintendo hardware is essential
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or like discipline is required or equivalent years of work experience.
