As a Master Data Administrator, you will have the role of overseeing Master Data set up and modification requests and will be in charge of ensuring that proper approval is given for all requests and that Master Data in JD Edwards is correctly maintained. You will contribute to the company’s intellectual property and will be accountable for the quality, accuracy, and proper workflow of the data you maintain.

This position will encompass responsibilities across Master Data – Finished Goods, Customers, Vendors, Employees, Brokers, Ingredients, Intermediates, Packaging and EAM Items are all part of the Master Data Management gr oup. You will likely focus on a subset of data while cross-training on the others to provide coverage as needed.

Job Duties:

Oversee New Request Databases
    · Requests for new data setups come from a variety of places, including SharePoint databases that involve multiple contributors. Oversee pending requests and work with stakeholders to ensure timely entry of Master Data.
    · As needed, work with end users to make modifications and enhancements to the databases themselves, including moving them toward automation.
    Maintain New Data in JDE
      · Enter new or modify existing Master Data in JD Edwards. There are a number of Master Data types, and each has its own set of rules regarding approvals, required fields, and who should be notified before/after changes are made. You will work with end users to ensure that JDE reflects the most up-to-date information for our products, customers, vendors, etc.

    Provide Audit Records for Master Data Management Group
      · Keep records of when and why changes are made to existing data · Keep records showing that proper approvals are given prior to entry of new data · Keep records allowing for metrics of numbers of requests, what data types are being updated, etc.
    Job Qualifications
      · Bachelor’s degree required OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in master data management.

      · Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication skills. · Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management. · Ability to work independently and form business/technical options. · The ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action. · Must be available as required to respond to emergencies. · The desired candidate must also be a self-starter, customer oriented, team player, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
      · Ability to document procedures and approvals
