Cook III: This is an entry level hotel cook position we would prefer some cooking experience 1 to 2 years in similar working environment (upscale or upper tier hotels 4 diamond/ 4 star or higher, high-volume upscale free standing restaurant cook experience, country club or basic prep and production experience). Some knowledge of banquet prep and production and or line stations experience a plus - including but not limited to sauté, broiler, pantry and fry station. This position is primarily outside but also responsible for working in other culinary departments as needed including line, pastry, banquets, grill and employee cafeteria. Interest in going to culinary school. Or completing an apprentice program is a plus. The ability to comprehend safe food handling procedures a must. Position starts Mid April.
