Provides a wide range of tax support which includes gathering and analyzing data from the divisions and job site locations in order to prepare various tax returns including income tax, personal property tax, partnership tax and audits. Provides quality customer service to both internal and external customers; manages department resources to meet or exceed the expectations of the company, and improve knowledge and skills by pursuing continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Essential Functions ' Function as the liaison between the Corporate Tax Department, General Accounting, and Financial Reporting to assimilate JD Edwards accounting information into formats necessary for tax returns. ' As the liaison, review entries submitted by the Corporate Tax Department and post consolidated tax entries in the General Ledger.

' Reconcile tax accounts on a quarterly basis. ' Research and report on tax issues surrounding income tax, personal property tax, partnership and audits. ' Responsible for complying with tax regulations and deadlines. ' Prepare basic forms for personal property tax filing.

' Research and file Sales and Use Taxes ' Develop and execute sales and use tax training for Divisions. ' Responsible for business license renewals. ' Manage Tax deposit and payment requests. ' Responsible for the development of and compliance with internal controls and accounting policies and procedures.

Review and recommend updates to SOP as necessary to reflect these policies. ' Special projects and other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Knowledge ' Bachelor's degree in Accounting plus minimum 8 years tax accounting experience. ' Comply with tax deadlines.

' CPA certification preferred ' Corporate tax experience is preferred. ' Must be familiar with federal and state tax regulations ' Must have experience with state tax filings in multiple states. ' JD Edwards experience is a plus. ' Ability to organize, use time and other resources to prioritize multiple activities at once to accomplish desired results.
