The Completions Superintendent may be responsible for:
Providing day-to-day management of Completions well-site supervisors including scheduling, and supervision

Implementing stated company Environmental, Health, and, Safety Policy through pro-active management at the field level

Managing projects and timing in a multi-disciplined environment to achieve Division goals. This would include overall logistics from site-construction through hand-off to Production Group

Working with Completions engineers as peers to develop safe and low cost procedures for well operations

Working with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) for identification of qualified vendors in multiple areas

Identifying, evaluating, and selecting of qualified completions rigs

Having direct input and responsibility for cost control and ensuring operations stay within budget

Working with Completions engineers as peers to deliver wells as designed under the guidance of the Wells Management

Policy, and keeping within the Wells Excellence company standards

Position will be located in Dickinson, ND


Legally authorized to work in the United States

10+ years completions experience

1+ years of supervisory experience

Willingness to travel to field locations to review safety, technical issues, and operating practices as needed

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

Familiarity with computerized reporting systems (WellView) ideally with exposure to the SAP based financial environment

Thorough understanding of all financial aspects of completions including budgeting, preparation of AFE's, cost forecasting, estimation of service company contract values

Ability to mentor less experienced engineers/rig supervisors and local staff

Proven track record of cost control and streamlining operations to reduce overall costs

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience and comfort working in a self-directed team with high performance expectations

Excellent judgment and decision making ability regarding technical matters

Self-starter with high personal initiative and planning skills
