Job Summary:
This position directly supports and reports to the SVP of Consumer Marketing & Brand Strategy. The successful candidate will provide organizational and administrative support to the executive. This is a highly visible position requiring exceptional communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask with both internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will meet the competencies outlined below.

Essential Functions:
Provides administrative support to the SVP by managing and maintaining high call volumes, mail, contacts, soft/hard files, subscriptions, office supplies, IT requests, corporate services requests and more.

Will provide superior calendar management support via Outlook as well as strong Travel management duties. Will also manage and track all travel expenses.

Serves as a liaison for the SVP between both internal and external clients. External contacts and communications are typically sensitive in nature, dealing with business development opportunities and may include interacting with high profile executives at other companies, etc.

Coordinate and manage light marketing projects in PP and Excel, help with writing marketing briefs

Manages confidential documents and information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.

Assists the SVP in meeting preparation including collecting and dispersing pre-read materials, agendas and tracking action items for meetings, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Must come equipped with at least 3-5 years a Administrative/Executive Assistant level, ideally within a Marketing department within a Media, Cable, and/or related environment.

Must have a comfort level with stepping outside of the box; coordinating and managing marketing related projects as needed and not solely responsible for basic administrative duties. For example, PP deck writing as well as creating charts and Excel projects.

Strong Proficiency in Outlook calendar management, including Microsoft Word, Excel ,PowerPoint, Social Media and Internet Savvy for research needs.

Must exude professionalism, maintain strong communication and showcase a polished demeanor.

Proven ability to manage multiple executive calendars and heavy travel in a fast paced environment.

Must be meticulous and organized handling everyday Business & Marketing Administration functions in a proactive nature.

Must be flexible with hours beyond the 9-5 and be accessible as needed.

Bachelor’s Degree ideal

Must be reliable, dependable and consistent.
