Designs, modifies, develops, and implements SharePoint web sites, applications and associated enhancements. Responsible for development and maintenance of corporate intranet and internet site. Roles include lead developer, project manager, and SharePoint sites administrator. Provides direction for and schedules team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Collaborates with functional, technical and infrastructure teams to develop, test, implement and support web sites and applications to meet business requirements.
Researches solutions for business requests and presents functional and technical options.
Participates with business users in analyzing and documenting functional requirements.
Performs the analysis and design needed to meet a task’s requirements, and documents technical specifications.
Utilizes extensive functional and technical knowledge of SharePoint and related technologies to create a solution and/or assist and provide direction for team members.
May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a top-level contributor/specialist.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Organize, maintain and update existing Web/SharePoint Content in accordance with production specifications and standards to meet project goals, objectives and security requirements.
Prioritize, maintain and update existing Web/SharePoint content as required by clients, management and changing business needs in a timely manner. Follow-up with clients as needed for customer satisfaction
Provides support for users, including participation in the group’s on-call rotation.
Works as a lead with other team members
Extensive experience designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting web-based solutions in an enterprise environment.
In-depth knowledge of functional and technical aspects of the Microsoft SharePoint framework
Must be customer focused and results driven.
Able to manage multiple tasks in a potentially rapidly changing environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Three plus (3+) years work experience as a developer on a SharePoint development team. Experience/knowledge in the following areas desired:
supporting and developing enterprise applications with Microsoft SharePoint Framework
development experience using C#.Net, ASP.Net and Infopath
extensive knowledge of MS SQL databases
experience with technologies such as: Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Fireworks, Java Scripting, Cold Fusion, Free, FLASH.
adhering to standard development practices for the MS SharePoint Framework
utilizing full life cycle development including formal change management processes
knowledge of software development practices, methodologies and tools.
knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for enterprise software development
excellent oral and written communication skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Must show ability to read and interpret instructions, technical procedures and departmental standards. Ability to clearly write and verbally state resolutions or problems relating to progress of work. Ability to respond to questions from managers, supervisors and project leaders. Ability to explain complex issues in easy to understand phrases to programmers, programmer/analysts, and end users.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply basic concepts of business math, with strong emphasis on logic.
REASONING ABILITY Logical deductive reasoning required for this job. Ability to identify and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Advanced analytical skills required to make proper assessments of program logic. Extensive knowledge of the application(s) and systems necessary in order to assist other programmers as required.
