McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is an acute-care, 114-bed hospital located in Springfield, Ore., serving the Lane County area. The hospital provides a broad range of services, including Intensive Care/Coronary Care, Pulmonary Medicine, Oncology, Da Vinci Technology Surgery, CT Scan, MRI, Maternity, Reproductive Services, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation and a 24-Hour Emergency Department that is a designated Level III Trauma Center. McKenzie-Willamette is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC).
Hourly Base Rate:
$37.89 - $53.05
Hours per week:
Coordination and participation in patient care activities on a nursing unit, or house-wide during a specific shift; participation in Nursing Administration operations as a member of the management team. Offers instruction, support and care to patient, family and/or significant others who are experiencing disease processes and treatments. Assesses care and serves as a resource and support for hospital clients and staff. Provides appropriate direct instruction and orientation for nursing staff. Responsible for house-wide supervision of patient care during an 8 or 12 hour shift to ensure healthcare is delivered in a caring, safe, expedient and efficient manner. Serves as a liaison between nursing management, staffing and unit patient care coordinators.
EDUCATIONAL / LICENSING:
Nursing school graduate. Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon. bachelor's degree preferred. Current BLS and ACLS.
Three to five years pertinent clinical/management experience.
