A tenure-track position is available for fall 2011 in the Department of Natural Sciences. The Department emphasizes multidisciplinary approaches in teaching and research. Faculty members include biologists, chemists and physicists. Natural Science majors go on to graduate programs in the health professions (MD, DMD, DVM, etc), Ph.D.
and MS programs in neuroscience, cell biology, chemistry, public health. Teaching responsibilities include an undergraduate introductory biology course and upper level courses in Anatomy, Physiology, and Research Design and Analysis. The successful candidate is expected to develop an active research program in his/her scientific discipline that will involve upper-level undergraduates. Applicant should have a PhD in biology and a masters degree or 5 years experience in biostatistics.
