Mechanical Design Engineer
Mechanical Engineers research, design, and develop mechanical and electro-mechanical devices or systems. Responsibilities include development of system concepts, conducting design previews, performing system acceptance, and resolving design and implementation issues. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
· Proficiency in 3D modeling with Pro-Engineer OR Solidworks software and use Windchill or ePDM
· Proficiency in 2D drawing drafting
· Understanding GD&T standard and application on drawing
· Able to perform tolerance analysis
· Experience with basic manufacturing technologies (machining, stamping, Sheetmetal, casting, plastic molding and etc.)
· Basic PC office program competency (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
· Prefer to have general understanding of Statistics
· Good communication skills
· FEA is a plus
· Machine shop experience is a plus
