Description:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the QA Analyst will work with technical analysts, architects, and developers in translating complex business requirements into engineering actions and test scenarios for our next generation video and media software.
Responsibilities:
Writing test cases, test plans, and test reports
Executing manual test cases and reporting results
Performing test automation
Testing XML web services (SOAP, REST, etc)
Validation of database entries and states using SQL
Scripting in one or more of the following languages (Python, Ruby, or PERL)
Working in Agile process environment (Scrum, XP, etc)
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in software QA testing at least 2 of the following technologies/languages (Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTTP, Flash/Flex.
Cross-Browser testing experience
Prior experience with load, stress, and scalability testing
Prior experience writing test plans, test cases, and test reports
Prior test automation experience
Experience with XML web services testing (SOAP, REST, etc)
SQL experience (for validation of database entries and states)
One or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby, PERL, vendor-specific scripting languages)
