We are looking for a “Linux Guru” to join our Software Engineering team with a strong background in operating system kernel development. We are looking for someone with a record of substantial contributions to architectural ports with features and performance optimizations. This is a kernel software engineer who has also contributed to major debugging and fixes in order to ship high quality software.

We’re seeking a talented aggressive Linux software engineer who ideally has the following:
  • Experience porting to new architectures, as well as architecture dependent components such as virtual memory system, scheduler, and networking stack
  • Strong understanding of hardware architecture including CPU, cache concepts, memory and I/O
  • Experience in parallel systems, including multi-core processors, SMP and NUMA architectures, or systems comprised of multiple processors and FPGAs / ASICS .
  • Exposure to open-source process, working with Linux community and submitting patches
  • Track record and interest in development tools, including application and low-level APIs and performance analysis tools.
  • Effective teamwork skills to work well with hardware, software, system architect, applications and marketing individuals.
