Embedded Firmware Engineer
Job Description: Experience in embedded architecture, external interfaces, product constraints, along with ability to develop architectures/features that meet these constraints while providing new value for the platform. Source code development, review and maintenance (C/C++). Unit and system level test and verification. Experience in low-level programming, system architecture, operating systems, device architecture, and hardware design. System level design and modeling manages design environment. System integration using 8, 16, 32 bit micro-controllers. Algorithm modeling, benchmarking, implementation, and digital signal processing. Strong teamwork attitude with excellent communications skills: must clearly report status, progress, problem discoveries/recommended resolution to engineering manager/program manager.
Candidate must possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5-7 years experience with strong C/C++ coding/debug experience
- 5-7 years experience with strong FW/HW debug skills utilizing logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scope and other lab debug tools.
-5-7 years experience with embedded system FW development experience
-5-7 years experience working with Real Time Operation Systems
-3-4 years experience in Protocol stack
Familiar with the Bluetooth standard and Wi-Fi experience is an added advantage
-Threadx OS experience is a plus
-ARC processor experience is a great plus
