Purpose of Position: Hitachi Consulting?s Oracle practice is currently experiencing significant growth and we are actively searching for qualified Oracle Projects (Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing) Senior Consultants to join our team. Candidates will perform full-life cycle implementations / upgrades and will need to possess extensive team lead and configuration experience. The position requires a broad business perspective and a willingness to step into various roles. It may require working closely with sales teams or working as part of a project. Ideal candidates will have experience completing at least 2 full-life cycle implementations/upgrades of Oracle Projects.
We are seeking individuals with the following skills and experience:
Bachelors degree required
2 or more Oracle engagements with experience implementing Projects suite of modules (Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing).
Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation.
General consulting skills, including: team facilitation and business case development
Communication skills: presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written).
In addition to Oracle skills, two to five years of functional/business experience in any of the following: Project setup and maintenance, project tracking and reporting, project closure/rollup, and project accounting.
Technical Skills needed:
Current configuration and module working knowledge in Oracle Projects and additional Oracle modules
Two or more full cycle 11i - R12 implementations including: Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support AND/OR
Two to five years of end-user experience with Oracle Projects (Projects, Project Costing, Project Billing) including day-to-day operations and optimization/customizations
Travel: Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas is required to meet client needs and timetables.
Ability to be stationed at and work from an out-of-town client site for an extended period of time.
