The Nurse Educator is the primary source of educational and training assistance for the nurses providing care throughout the Medical Center. Working with other Nurse Educators he/she addresses training needs prioritized by Nursing Leadership and Nursing Education Service. The Nurse Educator coordinates with other educators, both internally and externally, coordinating programs. The Nurse Educator demonstrates a current and accurate knowledge of processes related to nursing care delivery at the Medical Center. The Nurse Educator must maintain clinical expertise in his/her area of practice
Full-time; 80 hours biweekly, Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm) with flexibility
BLS Instructor, ACLS, PALS, NALS instructor desired. Masters Degree (or currently working on) in specialty with experience in teaching, mentoring, and evaluating adult learning outcomes
