The Senior
Analyst position is located at Seagate's Cupertino, CA location but could also
be in Shakopee, MN or Longmont, CO for the right candidate.
An
opportunity exists for a highly motivated finance professional to join
Seagate’s Corporate Development group. The successful candidate will
support the corporate strategy process in analyzing potential opportunities
including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, licensing and strategic
partnership.
Key
Responsibilities include:

Employing strategic thinking and analytic
capabilities in order to identify and evaluate acquisition, investment and
partnering opportunities.
·
Working collaboratively across the organization
to understand strategies and assess opportunities
·
Researching and identifying potential
targets and building out of industry landscapes to support the corporate
development process
·
Using comparative techniques to value
opportunities and perform ROI analyses
·
Creating presentation materials for senior
corporate executives
·
Developing and reviewing financial models
and perform complex valuation analyses
·
Completing due diligence and support deal
execution.
·
Monitoring post-acquisition performance of
acquired entities
Qualifications
Requirements
Total
investment banking or corporate development experience of 3-5 years
College
degree in finance or related field
Excellent
quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
·
Experience researching industries and business models.
·
Financial analysis valuation experience
·
Proficient in Excel, Word and Power Point.
·
Self-motivated and strong attention to
detail
Preferred Requirements
·
Experience in the equity investments process
·
MBA
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
Ability
to partner effectively cross-functionally and globally
