The Uzan Division of Pinnacle Arts Management seeks a professional, enthusiastic, and creative individual to join the management team as an Associate Artists’ Manager. Presently representing over 100 artists including vocalists, stage directors and conductors, The Uzan Division works with artists whose career level ranges from beginners out of prestigious young artist programs to professionals enjoying renowned careers worldwide.   • Assist in managing the career of over 100 artists, including vocalists, conductors, directors, and designers.
  • Establish strong professional relationships with opera house administration.
  • Assist in preparing casting suggestions.
  • Maintain artists' calendars and act as point person for checking artists' availability.
  • Process negotiated contacts until executed.
  • Coordinate and attend artist auditions in New York City.
  • Arrange audition tours in the U.S. and Europe.
  • Compose and/or update client materials (biographical, repertoire lists, critical acclaim, etc).
  • Create media alerts for artists, using search engines such as Google or LexisNexis.
  • Maintain artists’ calendar and incoming critical acclaim.
  • Compose press releases and artist announcements for e-blasts to classical industry.
  • Maintain company website.
  • Act as point person for artists’ travel arrangements, when it requires a complicated itinerary.
  • Attend concerts, recitals and opera productions of current and potential new clients.
  • Search for Principal Conductor and General, Artistic, and/or Music Director positions.
  • Prepare all materials for application, submission, and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between artists and company administration.
  • Provide marketing departments with all artists’ materials for performance publicity.
  • Assist senior management in all business tasks.
  • Screen unsolicited inquiries requesting representation.
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a field related to the performing arts.
  • Significant knowledge of operatic and orchestral repertoire.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, detail-oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team.
  • A minimum of two to three years of relevant experience.
  • Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and handle high stress, sometimes emotional situations.
  • Strong passion for the performing arts, and a commitment to the integrity of the Uzan Division.
