The Senior Quality Engineer provides senior-level expertise to process improvement teams and quality oversight committees in the areas of data acquisition and management, study design and analysis. On a technical level, this position utilizes multiple software applications and programming skills to combine data from multiple systems and develop complex queries in support of quality improvement and cost-reduction efforts. Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Industrial Engineering/Health Systems Engineering, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field. OR Bachelors degree plus 5 years of work experience.
Advanced SAS programming and troubleshooting skills, including the use of macros, graphics and application development. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, allowing integration with SAS for automated reporting. Advanced data management and report writing skills to support manipulation of large amounts of data from multiple systems and development of complex queries for analysis. Ability to quickly grasp and apply technical skills required for utilization of multiple software applications and ongoing involvement with various project vendors.
KIND and LENGTH of EXPERIENCE
Three to five years experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Includes manipulating large amounts of data, developing complex queries and analyses, managing multiple projects, preparing reports and presentations and working in a multidisclipinary team setting. Additional Job Information
