1. Has responsibilities for the customer desktop environment, which includes;
a. Hardware upgrades
b. Local client or application upgrades
c. Manage small projects related to new desktop, peripheral, printing equipment
d. Manage small projects related to the relocation of existing desktop, peripheral, printing equipment
e. Communicating to the user current support activities
f. Post-installation support activities

2. Diagnose and resolve customer reported problems in the desktop, peripherals, and printing environment

3. Carry a pager and participate in a 7x24 on-call rotation

4. Utilize a variety of tools and/or utilities to assist in the resolution of desktop, peripheral, or printing issues

5. Maintains within the problem tracking system a log of current troubleshooting activities and final problem resolution

6. Consults with other IS personnel as necessary to diagnose and resolve device or application issues related to the customers desktop or printing environments

7. Escalates problems according to published protocols

8. Assists in the management of spare part inventory and device inventory at their assigned site

9. Assists in the management of spare part inventory and device inventory at their assigned site

10. Performs other related duties and assignments as required
