Job Description: Transcribes routine letters, medical records, appeal responses, and other recorded data using transcribing equipment. Assists in other clerical, record keeping, front desk and scheduling assignments.

Education: High school graduation or equivalent; training in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Experience: One-year transcription experience in medical records, radiology, or laboratory.

Skills: Typing at 60 words per minute. Dictation experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication.

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.). Mostly sedentary work.
