Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals.
candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
• Participates in the provision of nursing care, under the
supervision of a registered nurse directed toward meeting the
psychosocial, physical, and communication needs of the residents.
• Admits residents to the unit by providing and coordinating
their introduction into the therapeutic environment.
Coordinates residents transfer to another unit or their discharge
from the hospital as appropriate
• Identifies resident
symptoms requiring medical attention, or resident problems and
behavior changes and communicates these to the Program Director,
Director of Nursing/Nursing Supervisor, and attending physician.
• Makes unit rounds to ensure the safety of the residents and
to monitor the milieu.
• Administers medications per
hospital policy and demonstrates competency. Ensures that medication
consent forms are received from the patient prior to administering
meds. Accurately identifies the need for PRN’s

nursing summaries, and first dose monitoring.
