Launched officially at South by Southwest after a 6 month beta, Crowdtap is already working with over 50 leading brands and many of the country ’s leading agencies. Crowdtap just closed Series A financing led by Foundry Group and is in brand new offices in the heart of Union Square. Crowdtap is the network for Brand Influencer Communities helping to define the future of how marketers will communicate, partner and collaborate with consumers.

Description: The Business Development Strategist will play a key role in pitching, strategizing with and developing new accounts. He/She will enjoy working in a fun, fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and thrive being around creativity and excitement. He/She will bring a creative and strategic approach and a desire to learn and grow quickly within an organization.

Key responsibilities include: Develop sales presentations and marketing materials Identify key target prospects Manage sales pipeline and meetings Pitch clients and analyze client feedback Present client feedback analysis to executive management team weekly Recommend new strategies and client opportunities Train new clients on our product, finding ways to increase usage and ROI for clients Participate in team brainstorms and product evolution Key qualifications include: Bachelors degree from a reputable university 2+ years experience in marketing, strategy and/or strategic sales Strategic thinker, able to understand and analyze client needs Strong organizational skills, able to capture and display data effectively Credible, able to train and educate clients on our product Outstanding ability to draft creative, powerful and strategic proposals Entrepreneurial background or attitude Strong written and spoken communications skills Strong passion for and understanding of social media, word of mouth and major shifts in media and advertising Personable and work well in a collaborative environment Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to come up with new ideas and advise on new revenue streams and offerings A good sense of humor a plus Might be required to travel, including overnight travel Compensation and Benefits: Crowdtap not only offers you an opportunity to grow your career, but also a competitive salary, stellar benefits including company-paid health insurance and concierge, 401(k) plan plus matching, weekly organic fruit, and abundance of fun.
