Job Description:
  • Accountable for the timeliness and quality of medical services and reports
  • Schedule appointments
  • Prepare files and charts for providers
  • Monitor exam process
  • Participate in billing and payment processes
  • Interface with clients, claimants and providers
  • Complete other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Military experience preferred, however, not required
  • High school diploma (some college preferred)
  • Experience scheduling appointments
  • Sound medical terminology knowledge and understanding a plus
  • Excellent command of the verbal and written language
  • Working knowledge of word processing software and medical database systems
  • Experience in a medical / insurance related industry
  • Medical billing experience
  • Medical Claims experience
  • ICD-9, CPT Coding
  • Physician's Office practice
