Duties

Manager Consultation / Job Analysis

Works directly with hiring managers to create a description (scorecard) and posting for each job.

Works directly with hiring managers to have a good understanding of technical and soft skill requirements.

Sourcing

Creates job postings for each open position ensuring that the job has been scoped out properly.

Utilizes multiple means of posting the job, including internet sites, networking sites, outside recruiters or other appropriate sources.

Evaluates, makes recommendations, and develops targeted sourcing strategies.

Evaluates and attends job fairs and other events to attract candidates.

Topgrading

Understands and promotes the topgrading methodology for candidate evaluation and selection.

Ensures hiring managers are trained and able to successfully apply topgrading best practices.

Screening & Interviewing

Conducts preliminary phone and in-person screening interviews for qualified candidates to ascertain whether the applicant has the required skills.

Submits candidate information to hiring managers for review.

Works with the hiring managers to determine who should participate in the interviewing process, and other pertinent details.

Schedules interviews, prepares materials for hiring managers.

Employee Selection Process

Generates offer letters to successful applicants.

Notifies unsuccessful applicants.

Recruiting Process Development & Oversight

Ensures recruiting and interviewing processes are consistently applied so that each candidate is evaluated fairly.

Periodically reviews and makes recommendations to improve recruiting processes.

Developing ProService as a Destination Employer

Evaluates, recommends, and attends events to market Company’s unique culture and benefits to develop Company as a destination employer.

Recruitment Records & KPIs

Maintains recruitment files on open positions for a one year period to comply with employment laws.

Prepares reports and documentation as needed to track effectiveness of recruiting efforts. Monitors cost per hire, time to fill a position, retention, and other metrics.

Bench Development and Succession Planning

Works with hiring managers to proactively identify difficult to fill positions. Develops a virtual bench of strong candidates.

Requirements

· Great communicator. Enjoys working with people face-to-face, on the phone, via email.

· Good listener. Embraces feedback, applies it to drive better outcomes.

· A passion for learning and promoting recruiting best practices & topgrading.

· Organized and detailed oriented.

· Works with urgency, effectively prioritizes work.

· Creative problem solver. Resourceful and self motivated.

· Doesn’t settle for “good”. Always strives for, and expects, excellence.

· Comfortable engaging with all levels of the organization, with different personalities.

· Effective with web and desktop application technology.

· Good understanding of federal and state HR laws a plus, but not required.

· Experience with Taleo and/or another ATS a plus, but not required.

· Experience working in a high growth or entrepreneurial environment a plus, but not required.
