The Associate Director will oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality System Remediation project plans and project managers. Candidate must be highly organized, flexible, and adept at handling multiple projects with tight deadlines. This will be a highly visible position interacting with many internal functional groups.
Formal Project Management training and experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, or Compliance highly desirable.Job Responsibilities:Represents the Project Management Organization as a prime contact on assigned projects. Interacts with senior internal and/or external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.Works independently under minimal supervision and directionEstablishes operating procedures that affect subordinate organizational units and ensures that organizational goals and objectives are being met.Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational proceduresLeads the planning and implementation of project plansFacilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverablesDefines project tasks and resource requirementsDevelops full scale project plansFacilitates meetings, assemble and coordinate project staffManages project resource allocationPlans and schedules project timelinesTracks project deliverables using appropriate toolsProvides direction and support to project teamConstantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholdersPresents reports defining project progress, problems and solutionsImplements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputsProject evaluations and assessment of resultsQualifications:Bachelors Degree with 10 plus or Masters Degree with 7 plus years Project Management experience: Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs or Compliance experience desirable.5 plus years of experience managing teams required.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of project management techniques and toolsKnowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project managementDirect work experience in project management capacityProven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
