Mechanical Engineer – Structural Analysis This critical
and key position shall be responsible for structural
analysis and mechanical design activities within the
Display case engineering team. These engineering shall
span new product development, value engineering and
design corrective action. The ideal candidate shall have
an extensive background in using skills in structural
analysis, mechanical design and manufacturing processes
to create robust , cost effective and easily
manufacturable components/systems where structural
strength, shock and vibration are the basis of design.
The candidate shall also lead efforts to leverage
internal and external competencies in structural
analysis including finite element analysis, modal
analysis and flow induced vibration.
Education, Skills and experience
„h At least 7 years of experience in using structural
analysis and mechanical design to develop components or
systems where mechanical strength is the primary basis
of design. Understanding of fabrication processes
including rolling, forming, drawing, drilling, milling
and molding is required. Knowledge of composite design
and manufacturing is a plus
„h Demonstrated proficiency in the use of solid modeling
tools such as ProE or equivalent
„h Demonstrated proficiency in the use of finite element
analysis software such as ANSYS or equivalent
„h Six Sigma training is a plus
„h Experience in leveraging external organizations for
structural analysis is a plus
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering
Mechanics with an emphasis on structural analysis
