HP requires a strong team member in a Sr. Product Marketing Manager role to manage a key and highly visible product line on a global basis called HP Operations Orchestration. HP OO is a leading IT automation software for the enterprise and these days with the industry buzz in the cloud and automated data center space, HP OO is slated for huge growth. Need a marketer who understands the traditional and the newer marketing tactics, write and execute the marketing plan each quarter, demonstrate creative thinking on marketing activities/campaigns and execute them with help of the worldwide sales reps, product management and R&D teams and leverage HP marketing assets to push the boundaries for rapid growth. • Knowledge of trends in the industry and how they affect the strategy/direction of the product line/line of services or solutions. • Suggest strategy changes internally and with external partners. • Compose the necessary messaging and communication platforms for events and interface with AR/PR as needed. • Create campaigns to generate demand and establish a healthy pipeline. Track the deal pipeline to close the loop on what tactics are working and which need to be changed. • Lead projects that involve cross-functional coordination to provide integrated products/services/ solutions • Provide input to improve processes e.g., forecast, product lifecycle, obsolescence. • Seen by sales team as an expert in the products/services/solutions and regularly is called on to promote and evangelize the benefits to customers and partners. • Regularly recommend product/ service/solution strategic direction that contributes value to senior level management. • Often create innovative solutions to enhance sales of the product lines or line of services/solutions. • Be a strong influencer and demonstrate a positive attitude towards diverse situations, different teams and organizational dynamics within a large company. Since change is considered a constant in our business, being able to adapt while not losing focus towards the business objectives is a key attribute for success. • Minimum travel flexibility required is 30%.

Education and Experience Required: • College degree in Business/Marketing/Finance/Technical is a must. • Masters degree is preferred. • Experience with product marketing in non-US markets in addition to the US market is a plus. Knowledge and Skills Required: • Minimum 7-10 years in product marketing to mid size and enterprises. Preferable within the IT Management and Automation areas. • Demonstrable leadership capabilities. • Strong written expression (English) and analytics skills required. • Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations to various audiences and in various environments. • Minimum 1 year work experience in a general marketing function beyond Product Marketing.
