Business Systems Analyst

Serves as the liaison between Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) across several North American manufacturing facilities. Leads and provides support in the analysis of IT solutions. Manages complex HR systems projects. Supports the development of detailed business requirements. Confirms the viability of projected benefits, provides input during the solution development and confirms the final design. Drives and confirms comprehensive system integration and user acceptance testing. Develops training documentation and conducts user training. Provides daily systems support (technical assistance, problem resolution, system maintenance, security and query development). Researches and analyzes systems to support HR strategies including the proactive research of products to meet future business needs and analysis of the inter-relationships of systems and functionality.
Leads and provides support to the HR Division in the gathering and analysis of hardware and software requests. Manages project activities ensuring projects are carried out in alignment with quality, cost and timeline requirements. Instructs and guides departments in the completion of requests and IT initiatives. Provides daily HR systems support and troubleshoots issues as needed.
Minimum of six years of HR and/or HR systems experience. Experience with PeopleSoft HR and managing projects of large scope and complexity is required. Experience supporting complex system upgrades and new system implementation.
Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HR 8.9 and/or 9.1. High-level understanding of IT workflow/infrastructure. General knowledge of HR applications and business processes. General knowledge of mainframe system functionality. Strong understanding of the inter-relationships of various HR systems. Expert level knowledge of query development.
