The Encompass Technology Organization supports and develops Technology solutions for the Encompass Brand of insurance products within the Allstate Insurance Company. We are seeking a talented, hands-on Technolgy Manager to oversee a team whose primary responsibility is to provide solution design for Encompass Technology projects and will report to the solution design leader for Encompass.
Primary responsibilities
:
Take an active role in projects and provide guidance and feedback to resources involved in the design
Review and approve project artifacts and designs
Actively manage resources as part of solution design as well as overall capacity and workload
Participate in weekly project review meetings to determine need for solution design
Help identify success criteria and publish metrics
Ensure we follow overall solution design processes as defined but the Enterprise team.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Good technical knowledge and the ability to grasp technical designs
Exposure to Encompass technologies a plus (Interlink, UA, .NET, Java, Mainframe, Database)
Communicate effectively within and across teams
Enthusiastic about technology
