Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for successfully managing the student experience and the day to day operations associated with the Charlotte MBA Program. In collaboration with the Managing Director, develops short term and long term strategies to enhance student satisfaction, student academic success and accountability.
Serves as first point of contact for all student issues, questions, concerns, etc. Primary spokesperson for program to all students.
Responsible for managing the student experience and day-day operations of the program that supports: 1) academic excellence, 2) teamwork, 3) a positive attitude, 4) importance of job search, and 5) integrity.
Directs student onboarding and outgoing process while collaborating with the Office of Student Affairs in all aspects of orientation and graduation.
Coordinates with Associate Dean and Managing Director to develop comprehensive academic success plan of action for identified students within program.
Focal point for informal and formal feedback from students on the program. Responsible for managing appropriate survey instrument(s).
Develops annual recommendations and action plans on implementing change and continuous improvement.
Collaborates with Career Management Center, and The Office of Student Affairs in developing the student experience.
Assists the Director of Faculty Affairs with scheduling core and elective courses.
Serves as the Charlotte liaison between students and Winston-Salem personnel.
Assists Graduate Admissions with admissions consultations and recruiting events.
Works closely with Graduate Admissions on yield once students have deposited.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of experience in higher education with significant student interaction, or corporate HR/talent or general management role. Graduate degree is preferred.

Able to develop effective assessment methods and processes to generate data to measure, track, and report outcomes that are used by Program Managers, Academic Directors and Senior Administration to improve services and quality of admitted students.
Ability to work in a collaborative and effective manner with Faculty, Administrators, Students and Staff at all levels of the organization.
Able to effectively present on and articulate the vision/mission of the Schools of Business and the Graduate Business Student Affairs to internal and external presentations to all constituents.
Outstanding writing skills and the stellar capability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small team scenarios.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
