Advertised Summary Job Description

The Clinical Coordinator II will work with physicians to carry out protocols of the CDC funded Tuberculosis Trials Consortium. The candidate will be responsible for the recruitment, care and follow up of patients with latent tuberculosis infection and active tuberculosis disease. Patient Care: Identify and screen patients for clinical trials accordance with protocol eligibility criteria: obtain informed consent: coordinate follow-up visits; monitor progress; and administer study medications. Maintain study patient data and other records including filing necessary reports to pharmaceutical firms, CRO's and regulatory agencies. Coordinate Education Programs for patients and clinicians, as well as patient & staff scheduling. Order equipment and supplies. Serve on QA committees, assist medical and administrative leadership in developing budgets , planning, developing center procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications for Grade Applicant MUST meet these minimum qualifications to be considered an applicant

Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus four years of related experience. Certified Registered Nurse.

Current NYS license required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tuberculosis patients and/or studies.
