PURPOSE: To primarily provide support to the Income Tax Manager but will also be utilized by the Tax Manager over all non-income taxes. Performs tax accounting functions on federal, state, and local levels
Preparation of monthly income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 (FAS 109 / FIN18)
Prepare and maintain documentation related to uncertain tax positions
Prepare all federal and state tax compliance, inclusive of extensions and estimates.
Maintain information databases
Maintain tax calendar to ensure timely and accurate filings.
Assist in federal and state tax audits and appeals.
Assist with non-income taxes, as needed
Keep current on industry trends, including developing functional expertise in FAS 109 and other areas impacting related functional areas.
Undergraduate degree, tax or accounting
1-2 years of income tax experience.
Working knowledge of accounting for income taxes (ASC 740)
Proficient with RIA Research
Certified Public Accountant
Masters degree in tax or accounting
1-2 years Big 4 experience
Familiarity with tax compliance systems such as CorpTax & Onesource
