King County's Business Resource Center (BRC) has implemented a new business model comprised of industry best operating practices from public and private organizations nationwide which provides county staff with improved access to timely, accurate and useful information to deliver better services to the public. The BRC E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial team is seeking a seasoned Functional Analyst who has been through multiple post-production support efforts and has been involved in Oracle EBS implementations.
The analyst is experienced in Oracle EBS functionality, spanning a variety of modules such as: General Ledger, iProcurement, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, iExpense, Accounts Receivable, Projects and Grants, Order Management, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Inventory.
The functional analyst will work closely with other functional team members and technical staff to fix and enhance functionality in the EBS system and will participate in various EBS Special projects and initiatives crossing multiple EBS modules.

WORK SCHEDULE: This position is not overtime-eligible , and is paid on a bi-weekly schedule, every other Thursday, with a 40-hour work week . The normal work week is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday . Incumbent may be required to work extended and/or flex scheduled work hours to respond to service needs.

Job Duties:
Primary resource on a variety of tasks focused on cross-module support of the system. This includes work to troubleshoot and resolve open issues, testing high priority fixes and conduct knowledge-sharing, training-sessions and production labs with agencies.
Provide subject matter expertise in initiatives on Special Projects within the scope of the EBS team.
Create and maintain system and operational documentation including business process and procedure documentation. Create and maintain module specific and End-to-End test scripts.
Provide techno-functional expertise needed by the team to monitor and troubleshoot interfaces. Includes gathering business requirements, updating functional specifications, collaborating with technical resources in multiple agencies, and coordinating testing efforts.
Special focus help on the Project & Grants team and expert troubleshooting support whenever necessary.
Special focus help on the Procure-to-Pay team (e.g. AME maintenance) and expert troubleshooting support whenever necessary.
Provide additional techno-functional support to the reporting team to enhance reporting solutions.
Provide functional expertise and support to the team developing end user training classes and materials.
Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills:
At least 5-years experience working on one or more Oracle EBS implementations and/or post-production support efforts as an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst.
At least 2-years experience on Oracle EBS R12 EBS implementations and/or post-production support efforts as an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst.
Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries to support troubleshooting of issues in areas within scope.
Demonstrated expertise in the following Core Financial modules: General Ledger and Projects and Grants
Demonstrated expertise in the following Procure to Pay modules – Inventory, iProcurement, Purchasing, and Payables.
Experience with methodology and best practices to configure and support Oracle EBS resulting in improved business processes and efficiencies.
Knowledge and understanding of public sector/government accounting practices.
Advanced skills with analysis and design including working with stakeholders to understand business requirements, system integration and business process redesign.
Knowledge and experience with multiple types of testing: unit, regression, integration, end-to-end, performance testing and cut-over preparation testing.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to present concise and articulate analysis in both written and spoken form and experience documenting business processes and writing systems documentation.
Adaptable and resourceful, capable of working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines with limited resources.
Self-starter; shows strong self-initiative to overcome issues and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Proven interpersonal skills; ability to work productively and professionally and maintain effective working relationships with team members and business users.
Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Desired Qualifications :
Experience in large public sector organizations
Experience with Approval Management Engine (AME) and Work-flow Monitoring in Oracle EBS.
Experience developing Discoverer Business Areas and Discoverer Reports.
