The Co-op Program is a year-round program,providing opportunities for college students during either the fall or spring semester.Co-ops are typically recruited from Emerson Process Management target universities –those colleges and universities at which Emerson Process Management activelyrecruits for full-time positions. Our goal is to create high awareness of the EmersonProcess Management Co-op program from the beginning of one’s college experience,and carefully track co-ops over the course of their degree program to retain themeventually for a position at Emerson Process Management. The program provides avehicle to attract, develop and retain future talent.Actual assignments span a wide breadth of opportunities within each major. All co-op candidates must meet requirements identical to those in full-time positionswithin Emerson Process Management, as well as requirements specific to the EmersonProcess Management Co-op Program. These requirements include:- Major relevant to available co-op assignments- Excellent academic preparation with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 scale- Superior oral and written communication skills- Excellent leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills- Evidence of mature, flexible and innovative approaches to workTest & Evaluation Engineering Co-ops will work as support engineers in our newproduct development group. They will assist project engineers and design engineers byperforming design calculations, building prototypes, performing laboratory tests,analyzing test data and writing laboratory test reports. As a member of the productdevelopment team, you will interface with Marketing, Manufacturing, Applications andMaterials Procurement This position requires Junior-level status or above working toward a Bachelor’s degreein Engineering.
