Insurance Zebra, an Austin-based insurance comparison technology company is actively seeking an organized and enthusiastic Office Manager who can work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a key role that calls for a dynamic and energetic individual who will take ownership of the responsibilities and anticipate all office needs. |
The focus of this position is creating and maintaining a fun and vibrant work environment for the employees. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business and the needs of those involved in the business, including management, the team and the company ’s partners.
• Perform administrative and office support activities, including but not limited to filing, opening and distributing mail, answering and directing phone calls, coordinating meetings or interviews, etc.
• Assure that all offices and common areas are tidy and presentable
• Manage routine expenses, pay vendors, and maintain accurate records inside Quickbooks
• Manage record keeping of insurance carrier licenses
• Regular stocking of the Insurance Zebra amenities and snacks
• Greeting guests and making them feel welcome in our space
• Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies as necessary
• Running errands as necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet
• Demonstrated professional, courteous telephone and interpersonal skills
• Mature-minded, team-player with an upbeat, “anything is possible ” attitude
• Natural drive and initiative to keep pace with a performance-driven team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and establish work priorities
• Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to anticipate next steps
