Our Client is looking for Slitters in Trim Production with Manufacturing Steel Background in Sheet Metal.
JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure all quality checks are performed and documented properly.
Stock trim levels are to remain consistent. You are to produce adequate amounts to ensure they do not run out.
Recoiling, rollforming, and slitting
No actions are to be taken without the trim supervisor.
Meet or exceed all production goals set by management.
Follow all safety rules.
Clean up work area daily (sweep floors, empty trash, etc).
Complete all other tasks as required or assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or upper management.
Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated support of company mission statement and value list.
Ability to learn all production areas.
Self-starter with High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read a tape measure, do basic mathematical calculations and use a calculator.
Ability to learn production operations.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift 75 pounds.
Ability to twist, bend and reach to perform job duties.
Ability to work while being exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
Follow procedures and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
Be detailed and customer oriented.
Maintain attendance record with less than 2 points.
Ability and willingness to work various shifts.
