Under broad direction, contributes to Best Practices in project delivery. Able to set project objectives and priorities, as well as set milestones. Begins to play an active QA role for the mainstay process. Able to apply and adjust relevant standards within the mainstay process. Able to demonstrate the value of these approaches to customer. Demonstrates project management skills and is capable of managing a small project team of up to 10 people. Also demonstrates ability to manage project or team across several geographical/technical areas. Instills confidence in client regarding relevant project or technical decisions. Perceived as strong team member and trusted advisor at the single office/department level. Proactively identifies potential problems and objections and is able to understand, manage, and effectively resolve them. Actively coordinates others in objection handling. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in geoscience, engineering, computer science or business and 8 years of experience.
